The Substance Abuse Center of Kansas is hiring part time detox technicians in Wichita, KS. 2nd shift and 3rd shift available. Duties include completing intakes, discharges, discharge planning, taking vitals, and documenting withdrawal symptoms. Applicants must pass a criminal background check as well as child abuse registry check and pre-employment drug test. You cannot be on any supervision with probation, parole or corrections. Must be proficient in the use of computer applications and enjoy working with people. We are a 24-hour facility, so attendance is critical and mandatory. Starting pay is $12.50 an hour.
